Week 15: Eduardo Jimenez

This is his first year at CSULB and is majoring in biology. He is from Downtown LA. He dorms and so far likes it because it is convinient.
He attended Dr. Olga Mohan High School. (Charter school)
He wants to be a medicine technologist. His hobbies include: bike riding, hangingout with friends, driving, and playing sports especially soccer.

Week 14: Kyle Bergman 

Kyle is Junior at CSULB and is majoring in computer engineering. He commutes from Los Angeles. He says he loves to play board games, just not Monopoly because he says he does not like it. He loves to watch Adventure time oh yay!  I love that show.

Week 13: Anabel Sanchez 

Anabel is 18 years young, from Wilmington. She loves to eat french fries and Mexican food. Her favorite sport is swimming. She listens to all types of music. She has a good style!

Week 12: Alfredo Garcia

When I interviewed my classmate Alfredo, we clicked right away. He is an awesome person with a kick-ass personality! He is a freshman at CSULB who is majoring in business. He is 18 years old and commutes to school in public transportation. His family inspired him to pursue a career by keep going to school. His favorite color is black (even though we all know that is a shade; just not him)

Week 11: Classmate Kaziah Thornton-Tello 

Kaziah is a freshman at CSULB. She is still undeclared with her major but is considering on going into communications. She is from Long Beach and also dorms here. She is 19 years young. Going to the gym is her hobby. She enjoys photography which is awesome!

Week 10: Classmate Selin Ari

Selin is 19 years young. She was born on November 28, 1994. She lives in Huntington Beach and commutes to school. She graduated from Edison High School. She is currently a Nursing major but is thinking about switching majors. She likes all music except a few country songs. She has a cat but would like a dog. Her man crush monday is James Franco. She likes funny movies especially pineapple express. Selin Ari.com

Week 9: Classmate Tevin Allen 

Tevin is 21 years old. He was born in on February 17, 1993. He loves to keep himself active by playing basketball and going to the REC center twice a day. He has three favorite basketball teams: Thunder, Miami, and of coarse, Lakers!He works on campus as  a housing assistant. He dorms on campus and is from Whittier California. He has seven sisters and one brother. He has no pets but would like a monkey. Just Tevin.com

Week 8: Classmate Cameron Schubert

Cameron’s hobbies include: laying down, eating, and sleeping.
He listens to bands, and is very sarcastic. His tattoo represents how birds are able to travel freely. He is 20 years old and a bio major even though he is not sure if he wants to change or not. He wants to help people. Loves aninlmals and the environment. Lives in Santa fe springs. Heynoww.com

Week 7: Classmate Geraldine Weekstein

Geraldine is a freshman and 19 years young! She is a bio major and lives in LA across from LAX. Her favorite food is mac and cheese and loves to drink rootbeer. She loves One Direction; guess we have something in common. Her favorite band member from the group is Harry Styles. She went to a private all girls high school with a total of 76 girls who graduated in her year. (Wonder how it must be going to a college filled with boys!) She said she did not like her trip to Hawaii because she got stung by two jellyfishes in the first hour. Ouch! Geraldine Weckstein.com

Week 6: Classmate Leticia Estrada

Leticia was a Criminal Justice major but decided to switch to Kinesiology. She was actually in the same criminal justice class as I was. We never really talked to it was interesting to know we were in the same class again. This is her first year at CSULB. She went to Senora High School and played three sports: volleyball, soccer, and softball. She has six dogs, 1 parrot, and fishes. She works on campus as a CSO escort. She escorts people to their cars during the night. She said she likes the job just not the hours that she has to work.

Week 5: Classmate Arlette Pacheco 

This is Arlette’s second year at CSULB. She likes to go to Disneyland like every week. She works at Nickel Nickel in Huntington Beach. She’s 19. Played basketball in High School. Her favorite basketball is the Lakers even if they do suck right now. She wishes she had any small dog.

Week 4: Classmate Emma Madsen

Emma is majoring in Phsycology. This is her first year at CSULB and is dorming.
She is from the Fresno/Yosemite community. Back home she has two cats and a dog. She took drama in high school. Her hobbies are: hangingout with friends, photography, and watching movies.

Week 3: Classmate Christian Carranza. 

Christian’s favorite animal is a rabbit because they are cute, fluffy, small, and overall, cute! He is going to be a junior next year here at CSULB. He is currently a sophomore. Christian lives in Hollywood. On his free time he loves to play video games, tennis, soccer, and watch sports like tennis and soccer. He also loves to listen to music.

He took this class because he wanted to finish his general education of arts.

This week I got to meet another new friend; Debora. Who has a good sense of style, and music. So glad I got to interview her.

I asked her: what her favorite sport was, what kind of music she likes,who inspires her the most, why she decided to take this class, how many siblings she has, and what her hobbies were.

this is what she said…

My favorite sport is volleyball, even though I’m not so good at it! I like rock (Christian, Alternative,Punk,and
Soft). Anything except Rancheras.
My parents inspire me to want to pursue a career as a nurse. I was curious to learn about art since in high school I had a terrible art teacher who didn’t teach
me much about art. I have 4 sisters.
I like:
-singing
-going to theme parks
-traveling
-music
-working out (when i get the chance)
-swimming
-playing video games
-hiking
-watching movies
-hanging out with family and friends

Week 1: Classmate Interview: Pilar Garcia

The first person I met once class
started. Pilar’s major is Sociology.
She says her parents inspire her
the most because, “they have
worked really hard to raise me and
my brothers.” Her favorite sport is
soccer. She is taking this class
because her advisor told her to
take it. 🙂 She says her most
memorable moment was when she
went to Mexico because she got
the opportunity to meet her dad’s
family.
